Caravaggio

A retrospective exhibition dedicated to Caravaggio is taking place in Potenza at the Museo Archeologico Provinciale, featuring his renowned late-sixteenth-century painting "Narcissus." The exhibition brings together paintings, archaeological finds, and materials on visual culture to explore the Narcissus myth and provide historical and iconographic context. This marks the first time Caravaggio's masterpiece has been displayed in Basilicata, accompanied by guided tours and educational activities.
