What we collect, why, and how to reach us.

What we store

• Account data. Your email, display name, and the content you create — discussions, comments, votes, annotations. Held in our database while your account is active.
• Sign-in token. When you sign in, an authentication token is kept in your browser’s local storage so you stay signed in. It’s not a cookie, doesn’t cross to other sites, and is cleared on logout.
• Operational telemetry. Anonymous error reports, page-load timings, and request volume are sent to Microsoft Azure Application Insights. No cookies, no behavioural profile, not linked to your account — just enough to find broken pages and slow endpoints.

What we don't do

• No advertising, marketing, or third-party analytics.
• No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of your data.

Third parties involved

Microsoft Azure hosts the site, the database, image storage, and the authentication layer (Microsoft Entra). Your email and sign-in information passes through Microsoft’s identity service. Application Insights (also Azure) receives the operational telemetry described above.

No other third-party scripts, pixels, or analytics tools are loaded.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email contact@chitra.art and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
