ティツィアーノ・ヴェチェッリオ

Titian (c. 1490–1576) was the dominant painter of Renaissance Venice and one of the most influential artists in Western history. Born in Pieve di Cadore, he trained under Giovanni Bellini and absorbed lessons from his contemporary Giorgione, eventually surpassing both to become the unrivaled master of Venetian painting for over sixty years. His technical innovation—bold brushwork, luminous color, and dynamic composition—transformed how artists approached religious narratives, mythology, and portraiture.
