シュザンヌ・ヴァラドン
Artist community
Suzanne Valadon (1865–1938) began as a model for Montmartre's leading painters—Puvis de Chavannes, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec—before teaching herself to draw and becoming a painter in her own right. In 1894 she became the first woman admitted to the Salon de la Nationale. Largely self-taught, she escaped academic convention and developed a distinctive style: bold compositions, vibrant colors, and expressive line work.
