マン・レイ

Man Ray was an American-born artist who spent most of his career in Paris, moving there in 1921 to immerse himself in the Dada and Surrealist movements. Born Emmanuel Radnitzky in Philadelphia in 1890, he adopted his distinctive name in the 1910s and gradually shifted from painting to photography and experimental film. In Paris, he reinvented himself as a photographer, inventing rayographs (cameraless photograms) and pioneering solarization techniques.
