ティントレット

Tintoretto (Jacopo Robusti, 1518–1594) was a Venetian painter of extraordinary speed and ambition. He claimed to unite Michelangelo's drawing with Titian's colour, and his bold, muscular figures, dramatic gestures, and daring perspectives place him among the masters of Mannerism. Working almost entirely in Venice, he competed fiercely with rivals by producing monumental canvases quickly and cheaply. His breakthrough came in 1548 with the Miracle of the Slave for the Scuola di San Marco.
