Sue DiCicco

Sue DiCicco creates across multiple forms—sculpture, animation, illustration, and children's books—with a career spanning from Disney's earliest digital animation to public monuments. Born in Southern California in 1959, she trained at the California Institute of the Arts alongside Tim Burton and John Lasseter, then worked as an animator before establishing her own studio. She has illustrated hundreds of children's books, including recent editions of Golden Books classics and a co-authored biography of Sadako Sasaki.
